Bench Mount Thicknesser - Spiral Head - T-13S

The T-13S sets itself apart from traditional thicknessers with its upgraded spiral cutter head, now standard on this model. Unlike conventional straight blade systems, the spiral design delivers a shearing action as it engages the workpiece. This results in a significantly smoother finish with reduced chipping and tear-out, along with noticeably quieter operation compared to the loud chopping action of traditional HSS cutter heads.

The cutter head is fitted with 26 replaceable HSS inserts that are easy to index or swap out using the included torque key. Since each insert sits at a fixed height, there's no need for time-consuming setup or adjustments—just unscrew and replace.

Thickness adjustment is made via a precision control lever located on top of the machine, working in tandem with a measurement scale on the front for quick reference. Additional features include a front-mounted depth of cut gauge and a lower-mounted preset depth stop with fixed positions at 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2", allowing for consistent and repeatable results.
